That gosh-darned wall is certainly not going to build itself. As soon as the president realized this, well, you probably know what happened if you live in the US, that is, the notorious government shutdown. Hence, a lot of lawmaking bodies in the US are on their toes to fix this problem. One brilliant senator from Arizona even proposed to build the wall… using money collected from proposed porn taxation.

So yeah, turns out it’s not going to be Mexico or the US government paying to build the wall, but avid porn consumption. The idea was from Arizona State Representative Gail Griffin who is pushing for House Bill 2444 which will require all digital devices capable of accessing porn to be gated by a digital toll booth for X-rated material.

Users will then have to pay the additional tax or toll in order to access the porn. Furthermore, the bill also requires that all digital devices have cannot be sold, distributed, leased, or constructed without blocking software that prohibits pornographic material without the toll payment. Tampering or interfering with the block will then be considered as criminal activity.

As for the exact toll in order to access porn, it costs $20 and one has to be over the age of 18 and able to present an ID to the device’s company. All the proceeds collected from this hefty porn tax is to help fund and build the wall. At the moment, the said porn tax bill is only a proposal and will still have to pass the approval of two-thirds of Arizona State House and Senate.
