Art Attack: See What Happens When You Peel Off 30 Years of Graffiti

A man by the name if Paul De Graaf recently found a wall in the Netherlands (on the famous Doornroosje building) that, while covered in amazing street art, had a section with some missing, so he started to peel. Come to find out, layers of stacked, dry street art become an art unto itself.

The end result is thirty years of art, countless layers of pieces layed on top of other pieces, creating a sort of colored mosaic broken down into endless, chromatic layers, stacked one upon the other. They are quite lovely in and of themselves.

When art evolves into a different kind of art.

Reminds me of when you would get to the center of a Gobstopper as a kid.
