Controversial Fox News pundit Sean Hannity and “liberal entertainer” Ryan Adams got into a pretty heated Twitter melee this week. Both seemed pretty proud of their salient points, but in the end, only one of the two has a show to complain on.
The bickering began with an innocent tweet from Adams:
.@seanhannity Your entire soul is controlled by fear and by hate. Evolve little chicken man. See reality.
— Ryan Adams (@TheRyanAdams) August 6, 2013
Then Hannity did what he does and invited Adams on his show for a nationally televised spanking. The reply?
Thanks @seanhannity for inviting me on your show. If I wanted to be yelled at I would go see a Youth of Today reunion show. : )
— Ryan Adams (@TheRyanAdams) August 6, 2013
So, Hannity doubled down:
@TheRyanAdams Confident on Twitter, but too scared to come on and explain yourself?
— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) August 6, 2013
Resulting in the classy:
“@seanhannity: @TheRyanAdams Confident on Twitter, but too scared to come on and explain yourself?” I don’t negotiate with terrorists. — Ryan Adams (@TheRyanAdams) August 6, 2013
But it wasn’t over:
@TheRyanAdams who is the little chicken man now? A terrorist? Typical liberal, zero substance all name calling. Say it to my face u coward
— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) August 6, 2013
And it still wasn’t over:
So far, Adams hasn’t really responded except to say that he didn’t delete any of his tweets to Sean Hannity.
All I know is that I already thought Sean Hannity was obnoxious and I had no idea who Ryan Adams was. Now that I do, I know him for being similarly obnoxious, and not for his music.
