Facebook has been buzzing this morning with the rumor of Robert Pattinson being cast as the new Indiana Jones.
First, at 71 years old, who is to say Harrison Ford can’t handle it, he drinks his milk. But, if Disney insists on finding someone younger to do crazy action scenes, Pattinson is reportedly at the top of the list.
Disney is looking at all of their options, compiling a list of actors who have wide ranging appeal. An insider from Los Angeles comments on the 28-year-old’s possible casting for the role.
“Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight… But the competition will be stiff.”
The source continued on saying this series has the potential for many things in the future, much like the Twilight series hit the world by storm.
“They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies.”
Apparently, Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, Kellan Lutz, and Chris Pine are all possible options.
