What type of game is J.J. Abrams playing? The director sent out a tweet yesterday saying that he was upset about all of the leaked Star Wars: Episode VII photos circulating around the internet. But at the same time Abrams may have dropped another hint about the movie.
A photo reportedly showing the Millennium Falcon was passed around the internet earlier this week. That didn’t sit well with the Star Wars director. Abrams wrote on Twitter today that it was “ridiculous” to think that Han Solo’s ship would make an appearance in the new movie.
Abrams writes: “I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie.”

But here’s the thing: According to Time, the message appears like it was posted on a Dejarik board which was on the Falcon in Star Wars: A New Hope.
So will the Millennium Falcon actually be in Star Wars: Episode VII? Is J.J. Abrams just trying to use a little misdirection on his fans?
We don’t know much about the new Star Wars movie but we do know that Abrams recently added a few female leads to the cast. Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie were both added to the cast this week.
