Pinterest Launches ‘Pin It’ Buttons For Several Third-Party Apps

Pinterest Buttons for other Mobile Apps

The Pinterest ‘Pin It’ button is making its way into mobile apps that are not owned by the popular photo-based sharing website.

Pinterest on Sunday began showing off the ‘Pin It’ button on several popular craft, photo, and commerce applications.

Among the first to receive the Pinterest sharing button was popular craft sales website Etsy. Also gaining access to what is sure to be a popular feature was ModCloth, SnapGuide, Brit + Co., and Fotopedia.

Also launching support was the Ted talks mobile app, and commerce apps Zulily, The North Face, and Jetsetter.

With a focus on crafts, arts, and similar subjects the new mobile app integration is right in line with Pinterest-based focus on those areas of interest.

Do you like the idea of being able to pin from any mobile app via the Pinterest ‘Pin It’ button?
