Last week Kylie Jenner was mocked pretty mercilessly online after making it on to the cover of Forbes. The reality star made the cut for her $900 million beauty fortune, with the publication predicting that the 20-year-old was on her way to being the youngest ever self-made billionaire.
It wasn’t long before the internet was disputing Jenner’s “self-made” claim, since she grew up in the uber rich Kardashian clan. Dictionary.com‘s Twitter account even chimed in with the definition of self-made, with made us all LOL.
Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided.

Internet prankster Josh Ostrovsky, better known as “The Fat Jew,” even launched a comedy crowd-funding campaign to help Jenner get to a billion dollars.
In his campaign, he said: “Kylie Jenner was on the cover of Forbes Magazine today for having a net worth of 900 million dollars, which is heartbreaking.
“I don’t want to live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn’t have a billion dollars.
“WE MUST RAISE 100 MILLION DOLLARS TO HELP HER GET TO A BILLION, PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD, THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.”
As of writing, Ostrovsky has raised $2013, which he says will actually go to charity and not the star.
Still, people have taken the idea and ran with it, setting up their own crowdfunding projects to make themselves billionnaires before Jenner. One example is Nathan Moore from Billings, Montana, and his unnamed friend, who have called their campaign “Beat Kylie to a Billion.”
“We’re out to beat Kylie Jenner to a billion to make us the youngest billionaires. There’s one reason you should chose to donate to us instead of her. We Dem boys!”
Unsurprisingly, people don’t seem convinced, as the lads have yet to get a single donation.
Whereas Josh Teis, the man behind the campaign “If Kylie can, why not JT,” has at least raised $10.
In her GoFundMe campaign, Anna Sandlin wants you to “help a girl out” (by which she means herself, of course).
Nice try guys, but somehow we think Jenner is going to get there first.
