Patchlife: Turn Your Social Media Experiences Into A Journal

Patchlife Output

Patchlife is an aggregator of sorts, the website grabs your digital postings and weaves them into a searchable online journal that you can access whenever you wish.

The program currently connects with the following social networks: Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Flickr, Tumblr, Prosperous and even your RSS feeds and connects the information you post into daily journals.

The program grabs your status updates, your photos, your videos and even blog posts to create a cohesive picture of your most serious writing and your boring “I’m bored” Facebook status messages.

Given the number of people who constantly share their lives with friends, family and co-workers via the internet the program in many ways can paint a more vivid picture of your thoughts at any given time than the handwritten journal entry you subconsciously self-censor at the end of the day.

The program takes the users information and weaves it together with colorful diary entries on a calendar setup that can be viewed at a later time to gain a better understanding of things that have happened. Users can choose to sort by date, build interactive diary’s of shared moments and even show off their diary with the company’s iPhone application.

Users can also create their own diary moments directly through the program by attacking entries, links, photos and documents, creating a more robust experience.
