Alllllllll aboard!
Ozzy Osbourne threw the Louisville Leopard Percussionists a curveball this week. A curveball worth $10,000 dollars for this youth group’s rendition of ‘Crazy Train.’ This cover has over 700,000 views on YouTube and it is worth it. So cool!
The Louisville Leopard Percussionists are comprised of kids aged 7-12 who live in or around Louisville, KY. The best thing this group decided to do was do an Ozzy Osbourne song and put it on the internet. This video was actually uploaded to YouTube over 2 years ago, but never lose faith that the guy who sings it won’t notice.
Even Jimmy Page gave the group of grade-school musicians a kudos back in February on Facebook after watching a video of the group perform a medley of Led Zeppelin songs.
What Jimmy Page didn’t do, was send a large check like the former leader of Black Sabbath and huge heavy metal icon did. Accompanying the check, Ozzy wrote, “Myself, my whole family and my fans all loved your rendition of ‘Crazy Train’.Keep up the good work.”
Seriously, faith in the music world restored! Check the video below:
Rightly so, the Louisville Leopard Percussionists are very pumped about this news and shared the news publicly on Facebook.
