Nimble Adds New Set Of Business Productivity Apps

Nimble

Nimble, a social CRM used by Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, has launched several new business productivity apps in its Apps Marketplace. The apps include: Zapier, Freshdesk and Import2.

CEO Jon Ferrara had this to say about his company’s new offerings:

“Our newest wave of apps helps our growing population of social business users and empowers them to practice social selling. Tying company-wide social conversations to customers is crucial to business success, and by integrating these third-party applications into our Apps Marketplace, we open up new ways of empowering teams through collaborating and conversing around the customer with Nimble.”

Zapier helps business users sync other web services they are already using so they can more easily communicate with their customers. For example, the company’s platform can import new Salesforce.com leads into Nimble and then import Quickbooks customers or GoToWebinar attendees.

Freshdesk is a cloud-based help desk software system that allows organizations to support their customers through email, phone, website, Facebook and Twitter. Users of the help desk software will be able to import new contacts, view contact details from a support ticket and review customer email or social conversation history.

Import2 is a data migration tool for importing all information from other CRMs. This will make it easy for Nimble users to import all of their data onto the platform.

In November of 2012 the social CRM introduced the Apps Marketplace which features such tools as HootSuite, MailChimp, HubSpot, Wufoo, Rapportive. The company plans to add even more applications in the future.
