McDonald’s Secret Menu Is Now a Thing

Secret Menu

Looks like In-n-Out and Starbucks aren’t the only places with a secret menu now.

A 24-year-old manager from Scotland spilled the beans on Mcdonald’s secret menu on one of Reddit’s AMAs.

“You can order from the ‘Secret Menu’,” he reveals. “Just like with any of our sandwiches, you can add, remove or change ingredients by special request. These are called ‘grill orders’ (i.e. Big Mac no pickle)”.

The McGangBang, a sandwich which caused quite a stir among Twitter users a while back, is real. Despite conjuring images of porn sites, the sandwich is in truth a pretty wholesome  junior Mcchicken stuffed inside a double cheeseburger. ” It’s pretty terrific,” says the AMAer.

There is also the “Land, Sea, and Air” burger, which is a mouthful in itself stuffed with Big Mac, fillet-O-Fish, and McChicken patties. Perfect for those who are looking to satisfy their protein cravings at 3:00am, or are looking to satisfy their hunger post-weight-lifting workout.

People who find the Big Mac too cumbersome and “bread-y” with that middle slice of bread can now rejoice over the “Poor Man’s Big Mac”, which is pretty much like it sounds — a Big Mac with the middle slice of bread gone. You not only cut out the extra calories and starch to be had from the offensive bread piece, but you also cut down the cost. A regular big Mac with set you back by $3.99, while a Poor Man’s will just cost you a mere $1.49!

Brunchers and in-betweeners at heart will fawn over the Mc10:35, though this is one sandwich that you need to time right to enjoy. The elusive menu item only appears at a small time window at 10:35am — the time when both breakfast items and regular menu items are available. Like some rare Pokemon, it certainly is well worth the effort — an Egg McMuffin housing the insides of a McDouble Cheeseburger. Good grief, someone hand me a napkin.

The menu is not limited to their signature sandwiches. The adventurous in palate and sweet-toothed foodies may well be rewarded with trying their taste buds at the McCrepe (a hotcake roll filled with the makings of a yoghurt parfait, berries, and granola), the Neapolitan shake (a blend of Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate shakes in one cup), and the Strawberry Eggnog Shake (exactly like what it sounds like, though only available in winter.)
