MSNBC was reporting on the Malaysian Airlines flight 117 crash this afternoon and thought they had an actual witness to report on the terrible occurrence. Turns out instead of it being someone from the U.S. military in Ukraine who witnessed the crash, it was prank phone call with an irrelevant man who really likes Howard Stern.
Krsytal Ball, MSNBC anchor, asked the man to describe what he saw and his response was interesting:
“Well, I was looking out the window and I saw a projectile flying in the sky and it would appear the plane was shot down by a blast of wind from Howard Stern’s ass.”
Obviously a little confused, or maybe she didn’t hear what the prankster actually said, Ball continued the conversation asking, “So it would appear the plane was shot down, can you tell us anything more from your military training of the sort of missile system that may have been coming from?”
The caller responded with, “Well, you’re a dumbass aren’t you?”
*crickets*
With the highly awkward silence, MSNBC went to a commercial break and cleared up the air when they returned, “We thought we had an eyewitness on the scene. That individual was not actually an eyewitness.”
Who knew you would be talking about Howard Stern’s ass today?
