YouTube star Lucas Cruikshank, known to his fans as ‘Fred’, has filmed a spot for Cute Combat, a new web series featured on the Petsami channel.
While Cruikshank no longer films clips as the fast-talking, squeaky Fred character, he is still a big presence on YouTube, and just as hyperactive as ever. In his first episode Lucas pits cross-species snugglefests against aggressive seagulls. The winner of those two options will advance to a future episode.
The Cute Combat series is written by YouTube star Michelle Glavan and will feature other cameos by SuperEd86, Peter Gilroy, Ceciley, and Bree Essrig.
The new series is produced by Fishbowl Worldwide Media which also provides the show with user-generated content from its massive America’s Funniest Home Videos vault.
Petsami is also part of the Discovery‘s Animalist network.
If you want to catch the Cute Combat series a new episode will air every Monday. At the end of episode 22 the cutest animal will be crowned.
The series began airing on April 7 and Lucas’ cameo has received 10,253 views. The first episode has 133 upvotes and 57 down votes.
