LinkedIn may be a great way to connect with like-minded people or find potential employees, and according to Investis, it also drives a lot of traffic.
Investis published its Audience Insight Report for Q3 2013, which analyzes traffic to corporate websites.
When it came to traffic to corporate websites from social media, LinkedIn was number one at 64 percent.
Facebook came in at 17 percent, Twitter at 14 percent and “Other” was listed at five percent.
Here are some other interesting stats:
- Corporate website visits are up 24 percent in the past two years.
- Visits from mobile have increased 400 percent in the past two years.
- 66 percent of mobile visits to corporate websites are from an iPad or iPhone.
- 58 percent of visitors live outside the UK.
Although LinkedIn drives the most traffic from social media, search is still king with 54 percent of visitors arriving from search engines.
