Liam Payne went on an epic Twitter rant Saturday night, just hours after he tweeted out his love for Duck Dynasty. It all began this afternoon, when the One Direction singer wrote, “@williebosshog huge lover to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan.”
@williebosshog huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan

The tweet didn’t sit to well with Payne’s fans and critics, who exploded Twitter with their disappointment for the singer. After a barrage of criticism and hate aimed his way, Payne returned to Twitter to clarify:
Being a fan of someones show and the way they still hold a family together doesnt mean i am ok with all they say. — Liam Payne (@Real_Liam_Payne) January 18, 2014
Unfortunately, the clarification didn’t earn him any love back from fans who believed his support also meant he agreed with Phil Robertson’s views on homosexuality. Payne has never expressed his views on the topic, though he once wrote in a response to a fan that “people can love who they want , its none of my business.”
After finally getting fed up with news stories about the tweet, Liam Payne returned to the site and embarked on an epic rant, writing:
Oh my god can someone literally not be a fan if a show without bring labeled WTf I bought dinner the other day it made a news story

— Liam Payne (@Real_Liam_Payne) January 19, 2014
He then clarified that the rant wasn’t aimed at fans, but rather at the media.
All those tweets are aimed at journalists and bloggers not fans

Payne ended by saying:
Sick of all this bull il be back again when the freedom of speech law is back and people don’t believe to much into the bulls#!t they read
— Liam Payne (@Real_Liam_Payne) January 19, 2014

— Liam Payne (@Real_Liam_Payne) January 19, 2014
Do you think Liam should have apologized for the tweet, or is he within his right to lash out for the headlines about his Duck Dynasty tweet?
