Kevin Durant unveiled the first gameplay footage of NBA 2K15 today on Instagram.
Durant writes: First look at #NBA2K15 for PS4 coming 10/7. #YourTimeHasCome”
The clip is only a few seconds long but NBA 2K14 fans will notice several improvements. According to 2K Sports, the new game features improved visuals and several new realistic details. Check out Durant’s sneakers or the details in the crowd.
Sadly, this wasn’t the only news that Durant had to share today. The NBA star announced today that he was cutting himself from the Team USA roster.
Durant said: “This was an extremely difficult decision as I take great pride in representing our country. I know that I owe it to my USA Basketball teammates to be totally invested in the experience. After going through training camp with USAB, I realized I could not fulfill my responsibilities to the team from both a time and energy standpoint. I need to take a step back and take some time away, both mentally and physically in order to prepare for the upcoming NBA season. I will be rooting for USAB and look forward to future opportunities with them.”
The announcement comes about a week after Paul George suffered a traumatic injury during practice. Durant seemed pretty shaken up about the injury.
God bless u my brother @Paul_George24. Im hurt, praying for you. Praying for peace. Praying that God heals you in a supernatural way.
