Kacy Catanzaro: First Woman To Finish ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Course [Video]

American Ninja Warrior - Kacy

At 5 feet tall and weighing in at 100 pounds, former NCAA gymnast, Kacy Catanzaro, became the first women to finish NBC’s American Ninja Warrior course.

Don’t be fooled at her size, “Mighty Kacy” made that course look like a kid’s playground. She has made an impressive run on the show so far and made a name for herself at the 2014 Dallas finals. With her course completion she qualifies for “Mount Midoriyama,” the ultimate challenge being a 70-foot high steel structure that not many competitiors get the chance to try.

As a gymnast at Towsond University, Kacy was named ECAC Gymnast of the Year and NCAA Southeast Regional Gymnast of the Year. She was a member of both 2009 and 2010’s ECAC championship teams.

Maybe gymnasts have a new calling? Ninja warrior courses.
