‘Hunger Games’ Three-Finger Salute Becomes Real Symbol Against Oppression in Thailand

This is pretty much one of the most unbelievable and truly unforgettable things I have ever had to write about on this site. You all know the three-finger salute Katniss uses in The Hunger Games books and movies? As much as this sucks to say out loud (because it only makes it more real), seems protesters in Thailand have been using it as symbol for their own oppression they have been facing culturally and the worst part is, they are being ARRESTED for it. Sometimes people wonder if life is imitating art or art is imitating life. I think we can see with this news story that both of these are true.

The truth is, I would love to tell you more, but no joke, this story is slowly getting erased from the web (which is scary). Just look at this piece for proof. See how it’s all been censored? This is getting big and getting scary.

I think I had better just back away now before I go missing.
