You know those Hulk rumors that have been floating around this week? Well, they’re not true. Just ask Mark Ruffalo.
Ruffalo took to Twitter today to talk about some of the rumors floating around his Marvel characters. Ruffalo said that the next time the Hulk will appear will be in The Avengers 2 and that there are no plans for a stand alone movie.
A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers2. No plans for stand alone.

The Hulk rumors started last week when a new trailer for Iron Man 3 was released. At the end of the trailer, Tony Stark calls out a bunch of automated Iron Man suits and one of them was the Hulkbuster. People started talking that the anti-Hulk armor may hint at the fact that the Hulk universe and the Iron Man universe would be intertwined before the second Avengers movie.
But according to Rufallo, that isn’t going to happen.
Ruffalo also said that there were no plans to film a stand-along Hulk project. Ruffalo said that he was open to the idea but that there were no plans currently in the works.
I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it’s not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring.

Just to be totally clear. I did not say there was not going to ever be a stand alone Hulk film. I said there wasn’t one in the works now.

Were you expecting to see the Hulk in Iron Man? Do you want to see the Hulk in its own movie before the new Avengers?
