Here’s ‘Achy Breaky Heart’s’ Weird NSFW Hip-Hop Remix Sequel Thing [Video]

I’d tell my heart, my achy breaky heart, about Billy Ray Cyrus’ new rap remix of his classic 1992 country hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” but I just don’t think he’d understand.

Probably because the song, featuring Billy Ray, rapper Buck 22, and a bunch of body-painted NSFW porn stars, is really really weird.

According to Rolling Stone, the song is actually Buck 22’s track. Here’s what he had to say for himself:

“I asked [Billy Ray Cyrus] if he would mind if I could take a crack at remaking ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ and he looked at me for a moment, and said ‘lots of people have tried already, but go for it.’ He didn’t have a clue that I had already gone into the lab and cooked up a demo of what I thought would be a fun EDM/hip-hop styled version, which at the time only had a sample from the original of his voice. He liked what he heard and, weeks later, arrived at the session to record this track.”

And that’s how Billy Ray Cyrus wound up at a music video shoot for “Achy Breaky 2,” surrounded by twerking alien dancers grinding to a hip-hop version of his hit.
