Heather McGill’s Facebook warning, posted publicly on the page of her husband Sen. Shadrack McGill, has detailed her feelings about and plans for the copious numbers of women who supposedly proposition her husband.
Heather McGill’s Facebook warning appeared Monday on the social network, and it’s a strange mix of horribly inappropriate and relatable.
Mrs. McGill is, you see, sick and tired of hussies hussying up Sen. Shadrack McGill’s Facebook page and inboxing him pictures and the like. (Or worse, trying to catfish him.)
So she went over to his page and unabashedly told those wannabe husband stealers where to stick it — and if you’ve ever been a young wife with young kids, you can probably relate to her frustration if not her way of handling it.
While going crazy on social media is never advisable, it’s also probably immensely difficult for women in Heather McGill’s position to witness women coming on to her spouse day in and day out, and it’s probably more surprising more political wives don’t similarly crack now that social media puts such blatant flirting in our faces all the time.
She begins:
Attention Facebook: This is Heather McGill (senator McGills wife) for anyone that does not know that. This may go viral and if so my prayer is that it strengthens marriages and families across this district, our state, and our country! I am very blessed to be the wife of a God fearing, hard working, ministry minded, loving father and husband and it is not just my right but my duty to lovingly serve him by protecting him! I have been silent for long enough!! NO MORE!
McGill continues:
Multiple times since being in office he has gotten emails from women (who may not even be real) inviting him to explore, also sending pictures of themselves. NO MORE!!! It is a shame that people are so heartless that they would try to split up families. We have children that look at our face books from time to time! Shame on you! You know who you are.
Okay, now we’re starting to get mad with her. Stop it, other women!
Next time everyone will know who you are!! For I will publicly share your name before we ‘unfriend’ you. I love my husband and my children too much to sit here and allow this to go on and will not give the enemy anymore foothold into my family! This is the ‘behind the scenes’ garbage that political life brings. I will not turn a blind eye to it any longer!
McGill continues:
I remember years ago my Pastors wife standing before the congregation preaching to the young women about their dress which had gotten out of hand and she boldly stood before them and spoke the truth. I boldly stand before you today and declare that I will stand beside my husband, support him, love him, and protect him at ALL cost!!!! Those of you who know who you are consider yourself warned! Those of you who understand my heart, thank you for listening and may God bless your families!
It should be pointed out that the McGills (it’s not clear which party is responsible) do engage in the ultimate Facebook couple sin of sharing a profile photo, a move that screams “I am so insecure about my relationship I literally need you to visualize it every time I cross your mind!”
But Sen. McGill is at least humoring his henpecking missus, posting later to Facebook:
Thank you my dear loving help mate for doing some much needed house keeping on our face book page … You are a wise woman and If you were running for my senate seat, I would vote for you babe.
Do you respect Sen. McGill more or less after Heather McGill’s Facebook warning? Is her reaction reasonable or a bit over the top?
Good for her !! I'm afraid I may have to do something similar soon, so I ask for your prayers in acting as God would intend for me to do and not leaning on my own understanding.
I agree fully with her she needs to call these ungodly shameful women out they are jezebels who have no thought to anyone but themselves. They will stand before God with their trying to destroy what God has put together. She was right to do it and God bless her for exposing them.
Good for her! People need to get their own lives and leave her and her husband alone. If people were not hiding behind their computer screen trying to ruin others lives this world would be a better place.
Even thought I have a facebook I'm saying this. Its better not to have facebook and not have any friends except your family members u know in real life or people in your live in otehr places.
