The first “made for the internet” full blown television series on Yahoo may come from “Girls” writer Lesley Arfin.
A report from Tubefilter suggested that the new series “34 and Pregnant” will be a “mom-com” centered around an expecting protagonist.
Arfin may not be a household name, but she is credited with being a recurring writer on HBO’s series “Girls.”
Along with Girls, Arfin is also attributed to contributing to Brooklyn Nine-Nine and MTV’s Awkward.
The move by Yahoo into full series television remains an interesting one, but many said the same about Netflix as well. It may well succeed, stranger things have happened.
