Facebook F8 2014 Registrations Go Live

Facebook F8

Facebook announced it was bringing back its F8 developer conference last week after a nearly three-year hiatus, and today opened up registrations.

Taking place April 30 in San Francisco, interested developers must submit an application from the F8 portal.

Tickets are limited, and the social network says it’s requiring applications “to ensure that we have a diverse mix of attendees at the event who represent the Facebook and Parse global developer ecosystem.”

If accepted, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and the cost to attend is $495.

From the Facebook developers blog:

“We’re also excited to announce that we will be live streaming the keynotes and all afternoon sessions on the F8 page for those who can’t be with us in person at the event. We will make session content available after the event. “

When F8 last took place in September 2011, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to the stage to announce Timeline.
