Philadelphia Eagles fans have not taken kindly to the recent DeSean Jackson trade rumors.
Jackson, a seven year veteran, had a career year in 2013 catching 82 passes for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns. It was the third time in his career he eclipsed 1,000 yards and six touchdowns.
Despite his monster 2013, the Eagles are hesitant to pay the 175 lb wide receiver the $10.25 million he’s owed in 2014.
Eagles fans don’t care about the money though, just look at their initial reaction to the rumors:
Looks as if DeSean Jackson is on the trade block and fielding offers, possibly for a 3rd round pick.. I’m furious

omg I cannot live without @DeseanJackson10. Why are they doing this to me!!!! Why!!!! I hate this team sometimes. — Ma’am Newton (@NFLGoodwitch) March 18, 2014
Nooooooooo if the #Eagles give up DeSean Jackson idk how I’d feel about our in air assault — IG: Stoodeeoohlyfe (@JuztDopeMusic) March 18, 2014
One fan even went the meme route to air her frustration in the best tweet of the bunch:

The Patriots aren’t the only team reportedly interested in Jackson either:
Bruh if niners get Desean Jackson…..! — R.I.P ALLISON ARGENT (@_Mr4oneFeezy) March 18, 2014
For now, any DeSean Jackson news should be considered a rumor. Jackson fits perfectly in Chip Kelly’s high paced offense, and losing him would not only hurt that, but also Nick Foles development.
It’s understandable why Eagles fans are upset. A player as good as DeSean Jackson doesn’t come around every year and they don’t want to lose that. Right now they just need to remember there is no reason to believe they will.
