A young boy named Charlie is going viral on Twitter. Charlie is a New York Mets fan and he recently wrote a letter to Jesus. In the letter he asks, “Dear Jesus, Why did you make the Mets so bad? Love, Charlie.”
The letter was picked up by @Deadspin after Zach Hutchins tagged the publication in his Twitter post:

Almost immediately after the tweet was picked up it received more than 450 retweets and 322 favorites.
Twitter users also jumped on the tweet, responded to the young boys Mets letter to Jesus. Here are some of their responses.

As a Chicago Cubs fan I can relate to young Charlie’s letter to Jesus, it does seem like he only likes the Yankees.
