Couple Announces Engagement On Facebook, There’s Just One Thing

Facebook post

Of course, it’s the first thing most women would do after getting engaged. Snap a selfie with the new diamond and post it to Facebook for the world to see. That’s exactly what Miranda Levy did after her boyfriend proposed to her. Well, sorta. Levy states that he wasn’t able to give her a real ring just yet. Just wait, that will probably be explained later. The photo garnered many likes, but Levy’s Facebook friends were quick to notice something else unique about the picture. Perhaps, oh, I don’t know, maybe that used pregnancy test box?

Miranda original post said:
“I am truly blessed today as the love of my life has asked me to marry him. Words cannot express how happy I feel, and how lucky I am. He wasn’t able to give me a real ring yet, but what matters is what’s on the inside. I know that we will be happy together, regardless of material things. Be on the look out for save-the-dates! -The Future Mrs. Kelly.”

Amidst the many congratulations, many began to crack jokes about Levy’s slipup. One friend wrote, “Well, I guess what’s on the inside really does matter.” Other simply pointed it out. “Is that what I think it is in the corner?” “Yo, lmfao, gotta crop this guys…” “what, so you’re pregnant too?”

Oh, but here’s the kicker. Another person left a comment, Levy’s father. “Honey, you should call us. Your mother is confused.”

At first, Levy acted confused. “Wait… wtf are you guys talking about? Why would you think that?” Then she realized it. Her response was to simple post another status, “Hey guys, we’re having a baby too.”

Well, we offer up congratulations to the happy couple and parents-to-be. We just wish we could be a fly on the wall when Levy talks to her confused parents.
