Colin Facebook Page

Colin told his mom that he didn’t want to have an 11th birthday party because he had no friends to invite. Concerned that her son didn’t have friends his mom took to Facebook.

The boys mother Jennifer, says she was heartbroken when her son requested that they skip his birthday. Rather than listening to her sons plea, she created a Facebook page titled Colin’s Eleven.

In a very short period of time the young man had received more than 10,000 likes. At the time of this post that number has rapidly increased to more than 257,000 Facebook fans.

With his birthday still weeks away (March 9), there is a very real chance that Colin will soon have even more fans willing to celebrate his birthday.

So how many fans was the boys mom shooting for? She had hopped for 50 fans, mostly from friends and family members.

The young boy was diagnosed with several sensory processing disorders last year, making it hard for him to make friends at school. In fact, Colin eats his lunch every day alone in a school office.

Speaking to Wood TV, the boys mother revealed, ‘We were talking about his birthday coming up and I had mentioned it a few times and he said he didn’t want a party. And I said, “Why don’t you want a party?”‘ The boy responded, “Mom, who am I going to invite? I don’t have any friends.”

On the Facebook page a PO Box is presented to viewers. If you love this cause you can send your best birthday wishes to:
