Chloe Grace Moretz Weighs in On Body Shaming Ad From Her New Animated Film

So the lovely and talented Chloe Grace Moretz has recently made an a animated movie that is a new and more updated take on Snow White and the 7 Dwarves, called Red Shoes. It is actually an anti-body-shaming movie (allegedly), but part of the movie’s campaign focuses on some pretty cruel things, as pointed out by one Twitter user, seen above.

So fat is ugly, huh? Great message to send. But the coolest  part of all this is @TessHoliday had tagged actress Chloe Grace Moretz, who lends her voice to the role, and the young actress chimed in showing grace (get it?) and class about the ad and subject matter therein, standing behind her movie but agreeing the ads were not okay and pointing out she was not asked about them beforehand.

Preach!

Well said!

And there you have it.

The actress also agrees the ad was tasteless and cruel, but is adamant that the film will undo the damage done by the ad by showing a very positive light on body image despite that fat-shaming ad that the marketing team behind the movie should get fired for approving, real talk.
