The Broncos will meet the Seahawks in New Jersey for Super Bowl XLVIII, and Twitter had a lot to say about who would win. While some NFL fans were eager to get their picks out there for who will win the match up, others were hating on Richard Sherman’s post-game interview, while still others were making comments about weed.
The Broncos beat the Patriots on Sunday afternoon, while the Seahawks beat the 49ers in the evening. Shortly after the final game, the Broncos congratulated the Seahawks in a classy way, welcoming them into the Super Bowl.
Congrats on the win and see you in New York, @Seahawks! #SB48 pic.twitter.com/PWW6YbnjsB

Other football fans were also in a congratulatory mood and looking forward to the match up.
Sorry Manning, but I’m going to say that the @Seahawks are going to win the Super Bowl, cause their D is too good! #LOB #SuperBowlXLVIII — José Cuervo (@j_durkin) January 20, 2014
We’re going to the Superbowl!!! #GoHawks!!! — Blitz the Seahawk (@BlitzTheSeahawk) January 20, 2014

So it’s a @KyleBusch and @kaseykahne Super Bowl!! Who said we don’t get along? It’s on brother! #GoBroncos — Kyle Busch (@KyleBusch) January 20, 2014
Then there were the fans who were less than thrilled, or even a bit confused, by Richard Sherman’s post-game interview, in which he declared himself the best corner back in the game.
No one is more excited about going to the first NJ Super Bowl than Richard Sherman. Watch his crazy interview here: https://t.co/cdLB9bzfsG

#RichardSherman embodies the perversity of our sports crazed nation. His childish rant demeaned an entire city #Seattle @RSherman_25

Dear Richard Sherman, It’s ok to use your inside voice. That’s a microphone. #richardsherman #seahawks https://t.co/wcNLQJvyhZ

Finally, there were the fans who alluded to the legalization of recreational marijuana and this year’s Super Bowl teams. Colorado and Washington both legalized weed through a popular vote in the 2012 election. While Colorado’s sales began this month, Washington’s will start later this year.
Now THIS will be a superBOWL. Colorado v. Washington…is there a lesson here? #WeedWillRockU #StonerBowl pic.twitter.com/GBayfobu58

Does anyone else find it weird that the only two cities/states that have legalized weed are going to the Super Bowl
— Jake (@jakeortizTGOD) January 20, 2014
And, well, then there was this guy, who was either extremely confused or trying to make a joke. We’re not sure.
well that was a fun superbowl cant wait until next year #sports

Who do you think should win the Super Bowl, the Broncos or the Seahawks?
