Three-time retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre debuted a new look that has the internet comparing him to a number of bearded icons.
While playing football, Favre racked up over 71,000 career passing yards and more than 500 touchdowns. He also won a Super Bowl and was league MVP three times.
It’s safe to say Brett Favre has hit a point in his life where he has nothing left to prove. For proof, here is his new no-shave look:

Since Brett Favre’s new look debuted online, Twitter has done what it does best:

Shoutout to ESPN for covering Brett Favre’s beard instead of the trade deadline. This is not a joke. — Desmond Zantua (@desswingsmics) March 5, 2014

Whether you approve of Favre’s new look or not, you have to admit it’s pretty impressive. Not only did Favre commit to the beard, he committed to building up his arms too.
Brett Favre probably won’t come out of retirement for a third time. If any team does need a last-minute quarterback though, it looks like he might ready.
