Bob Hoskins Dies Aged 71

The actor Bob Hoskins has died at the age of 71.

The English actor, perhaps best known for his role (sadly) in Who Killed Jessica Rabbit, died after a bout of pneumonia.

Hoskins was born in West Suffolk in 1942 and began his acting career on the stage at the Unity Theatre in 1969.

He first appeared on television in 1976 then went on to play significant roles in British cinema in the 70s and 80s, including The Long Good Friday, and Mona Lisa, the latter of which delivered him an Academy Award Nomination for best actor.

Hoskin sadly played minor roles in his later years, but he will not be forgotten.

RIP Bob Hoskins: 1942-2014.
