Did Florida State really expect college football fans to behave on Twitter? FSU hosted a Q&A on Twitter today with the #askJameis hashtag and, well, it didn’t go over as well as they had planned.
#Noles Fans: Do you have a question for our starting QB Jameis Winston? Tweet us using #AskJameis.

College football fans had plenty of questions for Jameis Winston. Unfortunately, none of those questions had anything to do with football.
Some fans wanted to know about the upcoming football season, some people wanted to know about Winston’s NFL role models, but most people just wanted to talk about crab legs.

In case you didn’t know, Jameis was spotted on camera stealing a crab legs from a Publix earlier this year. He’s also been accused of sexual assault.
Florida State made a smart move by not answering the questions live. Instead, they’ll pick a few appropriate questions and pass them on to Jameis tomorrow.
Thanks for your #AskJameis questions. If yours was selected it will be featured on @Seminoles_com later this week. Go #Noles!

FSU may be able to salvage the #AskJameis hashtag with a highly edited article, but we all know what happened.
If your looking for a job at FSU I'm sure there is a PR position available to replace the person who thought #AskJameis was a good idea.
