The hacker group Anonymous threatened Iggy Azalea over the weekend, saying that they would release the Australian rapper’s sex tape if she didn’t apologize to Azealia Banks.
Banks and Azalea have been having a bit of a feud on Twitter. In the wake of Eric Garner’s death, the two singers got into a war of words about race and police force. According to Anonymous, Iggy Azalea is guilty of “misappropriating black culture” and they are demanding that the singer apologize or else…
The group wrote on Twitter: “There’s an X rated tape of you, we bet you’d certainly don’t want public, are we right? @IGGYAZALEA….and this is nothing. Comply or else.”
The @theAnonMessage account has been suspended and the tweets have been deleted.
It’s also unclear if these threats came from an official Anonymous source. The group has seemingly denounced @TheAnonMessage’s tweets.
The media loves Anons like @TheAnonMessage and others like them, which do nothing but make our job harder and attract idiots. @YourAnonNews
