Alyssa Milano: Breastfeeding Pics Were Offensive But Nude Kim Kardashian Photos Were OK?

Alyssa Milano doesn’t understand why she was criticized for posting a breastfeeding selfie while Kim Kardashian was applauded for sharing nude photos of herself.

Kim Kardashian tried to “break the internet” this week with a nude photo spread in Paper Magazine. The reality star didn’t break the internet but she did succeed in getting everyone to talk about her nude body. For the most part, Kim was applauded for the risque photo session.

So why are Kim K’s nude photos OK but Alyssa Milano’s breastfeeding photo are taboo? Milano has posted a few breastfeeding photos on her Twitter account and every time she does at least a few people complain that they are inappropriate. But why? Milano posed the question to the internet today.

We don’t have the answer. But we do have the photos. Check out Kim Kardashian’s nude photos here or Alyssa Milano’s breastfeeding pics below.

This isn’t the first debate over nudity ignited by Kim Kardashian’s nude photos. Chelsea Handler has used the photo spread as a launching point to attack Instagram’s NSFW policy. Handler, as well as many other feminists, argue that women should be able to show their breasts on Instagram (and in public) because there are no rules against men being topless in public.
