Abigail Breslin Gets People Talking With 'Functional' Sexy Dress

Abigail Breslin stole the spotlight last night with a sexy, stripped sheer dress at the premiere of August: Osage County.

Critics were divided on the dress. Some said that the dress was a little too mature for the 17-year-old while others applauded Breslin’s grown up look. One thing we can all agree on is that the dress was functional. Well, almost all of us.

Celebrities always run the risk of a wardrobe malfunction when they wear something revealing on the red carpet. It’s apparently happens so frequently that designers have started referring to their clothes as functional. Abigail Breslin may have been the star of the red carpet last night but the young actress was still star-stuck when she saw Lena Dunham.

Breslin earned an Oscar nomination for her breakout role in Little Miss Sunshine and she’s had a pretty solid career since then. She is currently starring alongside Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep in August: Osage County.
