A Complete List Of Trump Family Values That Certainly Won’t Help To “Make America Great Again”

Trump Family Values

President Donald Trump tries to act like he’s this big family man who truly wants to bring America back to its roots, hence his “Make America Great Again” slogan. While he has been able to fool nearly half of the country with this nonsense, it’s safe to say that his true image is slowly being revealed. Trump claims he wants America to get back to traditional family values, but that means being honest, generous, and respectful, all qualities which the president doesn’t hold. He may claim he wants to improve the country, but he’s certainly not leading by example. Here’s a list of Trump family values that won’t help to “Make America Great Again.”

Disrespect

Trump Family Values

Trump doesn’t respect a single person. He has proven time and time again that he’ll turn on anyone. From reporters to his own advisors, Trump hasn’t managed to show an ounce of respect for any of them. He mocked a reporter with a disability, has feuded with celebrities on Twitter, spread racial stereotypes, ridiculed Democrats and liberals, and slut-shamed women repeatedly. Hardly demonstrates a man with reputable family values.

Chauvinism

Trump Family Values

Trump can pose with as many bald eagles as he wants but it won’t change the fact that he doesn’t understand the true meaning of patriotism. Or, what did he call himself? A nationalist. Neither of those actually describe him though. Trump claims to want to focus on just American politics but ends up more entwined with foreign leaders than any other president in recent history. He loves his country but hates the immigrants who run it. Chauvinism better describes his patriotic values. He may support our country but only the white, wealthy, men in our country.

Greed

Trump Family Values

Trump brags regularly about being greedy. He even used it as an anecdote on the presidential campaign trail:

Now, I’ll tell you, I’m good at that – so, you know, I’ve always taken in money. I like money. I’m very greedy. I’m a greedy person. I shouldn’t tell you that, I’m a greedy – I’ve always been greedy. I love money, right? But, you know what? I want to be greedy for our country. I want to be greedy. I want to be so greedy for our country. I want to take back money.

Supporters likely viewed this as part of Trump’s promise to put more money in their pockets, but anyone who has done their taxes this year knows that couldn’t be further than the truth. The only pockets he’s concerned with are his own. His greed might be good for business, but it’s certainly not working out for the middle class.

Cheat

Trump Family Values

Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had, and there’s been a few of them. Nothing screams family values in America more than three divorces (trust me, the third is coming), multiple baby-mamas, and an undetermined number of affairs with women in the adult industry. If he’s trying to bring America back to the ’50s where it was socially acceptable for men to stray, then his values are impeccable! It would explain his distaste for immigrants and constant need to supress women.

Racism

Trump Family Values

Traditional American family values include equality and kindness to others, regardless of what makes them different. Trump has made it clear that the only people worth his time are white men and foreign women who he finds attractive. His bigotry runs so deep that he actually thinks he’s not racist. According to the president, immigrants are criminals, murderers, rapists, have ghastly diseases, and far worse. These are only dark-skinned immigrants though, not those who can pass for white. He has called black Americans unpatriotic, ungrateful, and disrespectful while those who’ve marched for white supremacy are “very fine people.”

Tax Evasion

Trump definitely does his best to find loopholes so that he can avoid paying his taxes. He may not have come out and admitted it, but he certainly has come up with quite a few excuses as to why he won’t show his taxes to the public. It’s also no coincidence that Trump’s latest tax reform allows major corporations like Netflix to get away with paying zero dollars in taxes for the year. Someone as wealthy as Trump claims to be should have no problem paying their fair share of taxes, but we may never know. He was completely open to handing them over to the press during his campaign, but the moment he was sworn into office he has been singing a different tune. Here is the progression of Trump’s excuses for not showing us his tax returns:

I’m under a routine audit and it’ll be released, and as soon as the audit is finished it will be released.

Look, as I’ve told you, they’re under audit, they’re extremely complex. People wouldn’t understand them….It’s a very complex instrument and I think that people wouldn’t understand it but if I were finished with the audit, I would have an open mind to it.

…nobody cares about my tax return except for the reporters. Oh, at some point I’ll release them. Maybe I’ll release them after I’m finished, because I’m very proud of them actually. I did a good job….I might release them after I’m out of office.

Sexsim

Trump Family Values

Nothing says family values like grabbing your wife by the pussy before grabbing a beer and giving your son a knowing wink after a hard days work. Sexism has been ingrained in traditional American values for decades, but we worked our way out of the kitchen, and we’re not going back. Trump will just have to get over it. He might like his women half his age and twice as good looking, but that’s not the kind of values young boys should be looking up to. A woman’s worth needs to stop being measured by her appearance, because we have far more to offer the world.

Trump’s family values, or lack thereof, might not be making America great any time soon but they’ve certainly inspired a lot of political movements within our country. From the #MeToo Movement and Black Lives Matter to hopefully an upcoming Tax Scam Rebellion, changes are happening and only time will tell which direction the United States moves in.
