Earlier this week, Twitter user @satxjolynn managed to terrify the internet by sharing a video of a young boy pulling faces in a mirror. Sounds innocent enough, until you actually watch the 5-second clip, then you realise why people are freaking the f*ck out.

While others tried to use logic to explain the video
The child simply rotated his body towards the frame which obscured his reflection quicker than his physical self, which is mostly thanks to the position of the camera and angle of the mirror.
The angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection.
No Demons, only logic.

It’s called a rolling shutter. The camera records from left to right, it doesn’t capture the entire picture all at once. In this picture the kid blinked while the pic was being taken. His eyes are open in the reflection pic.twitter.com/QaQO2m7QuX
