4-Year-Old Gets Glasses, Internet Helps Him Adjust

Facebook Helps 4-Year-Old Glasses

When 4-year-old Noah Fisher learned he needed glasses, he could already hear the taunts of “Four Eyes!” in his ears. Mom to the rescue. Lindsey Fisher created a page called “Glasses for Noah” on Facebook to turn off her son’s tears — and it worked. She began by posting the following message:

//

The Facebook page quickly went viral, ballooning to more than 30,000 likes and several thousand photos of fellow four-eyed friends who shared pictures of themselves, their friends, and their loved ones sporting glasses.

Photos even came in from across the world, where Hungarian man Krisztian Toth told Noah, “Greetings from Hungary! Cool thing to be glasses!” Jose Altamirano added, “Hi Noah from Ireland! I love your glasses!! Do you like mines??!”

Like any good parent would, Lindsey helped Noah see the photos he was receiving and even filmed his reaction while reading them.

Considering how many people in the world wear glasses, we’re guessing this is just the beginning of support for Noah Fisher and his glasses.
