Zappos is a popular online retailer that sells shoes and apparel, and the company is known for having some of the best customer service.
However, one person, Kanye West, didn’t have anything nice to say at all on a recent podcast.
Recorded on the Bret Easton Ellis Podcast, Kanye said this:
“I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this s–t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s–t product.”
Kanye West is referring to Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, and today the retailer responded appropriately:

For the crazy low price of $100,000, you can receive your very own yellow and black plunger. Best of all, shipping is absolutely free.
Zappos sells products from some of the world’s largest brands, and after being acquired by Amazon for $1.2 billion in 2009, they’re clearly doing something wrong.
Kanye West has had a difficult time making an impact in the fashion industry, and after selling $120 plain white t-shirts, I have no idea why.
