YouTube and haters go together like biscuits and gravy. Comedian Brock Baker deals with his share of hateful comments, and decided to have a little fun.
It all started with the incredibly thoughtful comment of “You suck.”
That gave Brock the idea to respond to idiotic YouTube comments as if he was writing a Yelp review.
//
Hilarity quickly ensued, and since posting his first fake Yelp review Tuesday morning, Brock has followed up with three more exchanges:
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
When asked why would he respond to negative comments at all, and help feed the trolls, Brock simply replied, “But it’s sooooo fun.”
In this case, we’d have to agree, and give Brock Baker a virtual high five for coming up with a creative way to deal with the asshats that plague YouTube.
