Usain Bolt Tells Reporters Not To Make Up Stories

Usain Bolt isn’t very happy with the Commonwealth Games. Well, he’s not too happy with the journalists at the Commonwealth Games.

A report published last night claimed that the Olympic sprinter called the Commonwealth Games “a bit sh*t.” The Times also reported that the sprinter said that he wasn’t having fun at the games and that “the Olympics were better.”

But Bolt claims that he didn’t say any of that. The Olympic sprinter took to Twitter this morning to tell journalists to stop making stories up about him.

Bolt’s manager Ricky Simms also said that the quotes were rubbish.

Simms said: “The atmosphere in and around the stadiums has been absolutely fantastic and I have absolutely no idea where these quotes have come from.”

Commonwealth Games Federation chief Mike Hooper was probably a little surprised to hear Bolt’s alleged comments. When asked about it this morning, Hooper said that he would take Bolt’s word over the reporters.

Hooper said: “We take Mr Bolt at his word. We’re very pleased with how he’s responded and that’s our position.”
