Update: Twitter Recovered Majority Of Celebrity Tweets That Got Deleted

Twitter Bug Deletes Tweets

For the third time in March, Twitter experienced technical difficulties early this week. Previously the difficulties came from traffic overload and maintenance, but this time it was from celebrity tweets that went missing.

It’s no secret that celebrity presences was and continues to be a big part of what makes Twitter what it is today. For around 12 hours multiple highly viewed tweets from famous people such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Ellen Degeneres vanished out of thin air.

However, it was the most retweeted tweet of all time that noticeably disappeared, Ellen’s famed Oscar selfie. Regular users may have also been affected but there have been no significant reports that indicate that’s the case.

We reported earlier that Twitter was currently investigating the bug that was making famous peoples tweets disappear. Since then, Ellen’s Oscar selfie has been restored among others.

Although, some are still missing including Lady Gaga’s tweet of a photo with Miley Cyrus.

Twitter has went down a few times this year and has been running into one difficulty after the other, while other social networks such as Facebook are moving full steam ahead.

In addition, several employees have left Twitter in the past few months. This may not be good for Twitters share price since the company just went public not long ago.
