Twitter Wants To Make Sure You Know #ObamaIsNotSatan

In case there was any doubt, President Barack Obama is not Satan, and you may have noticed that Twitter it trying to put a stop to the association with the hashtag #ObamaIsNotSatan.

“But I don’t think Obama is Satan,” you say. Of course you don’t. That’s because our readers are only the most intelligent and most good-looking folks around. But to be honest, no one really thinks Obama is Satan, the hashtag is just a response to the History series The Bible, which depicted the Lord of Darkness in last night’s episode.

Satan, played by Moroccan actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni, kind of looks like our Commander in Chief, so hundreds of viewers turned to Twitter, wondering if it was some sort of political statement against the president.

It wasn’t, at least according to History and the show’s producers, but controversy has been erupting all day, hence the hashtag #ObamaIsNotSatan.

And, promoted by the AARP:

Do you think that President Obama is Satan?
