Twitter User Wants Pot, Gets Fired After Being Retweeted By Police

Twitter

A Twitter user in Toronto by the name of Sunith, apparently forgot how the internet works after tweeting about wanting some pot. Here is what the tweet read:

Any dealers in Vaughan wanna make a 20sac chop? Come to Keele/Langstaff Mr. Lube, need a spliff.

Unfortunately for him, the police were listening.

Making the situation even worse, Sunith was actually a Mr. Lube employee. Shortly after being retweeted by York Regional Police, his workplace caught on.

Sunith was swiftly fired, and since then, has changed his Twitter username, also protecting his tweets. While his profile bio currently reads, “DISCLAIMER: My tweets are NOT serious by any means,” Mr. Lube and police didn’t feel the same way.
