Twitter ‘See It’ Button Lets Comcast Subscribers Record Or Watch TV

Twitter

Twitter goes with TV like peanut butter and jelly, and the social network has partnered with Comcast to introduce the “See It” button.

Only available to Xfinity TV subscribers, users will see the button on select tweets in the official Twitter app.

Clicking the “See It” button will open up a page with more details, and three different options: Watch, Record and Remind.

Watch lets you automatically pull up the show on your TV, or you can decide to watch right from your smartphone or tablet.

Record ties into your set-top box, and Remind will alert you when a show is on.

Here are the list of TV shows that will be supported out of the gate:

  • The Voice (NBC)
  • The Blacklist (NBC)
  • Chicago Fire (NBC)
  • The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC)
  • Sunday Night Football (NBC)
  • Access Hollywood
  • NHL
  • Premier League Soccer
  • Sochi Olympics (NBC and NBCSN)
  • Today Show (NBC)
  • Psych (USA)
  • Suits (USA)

Twitter will be rolling out an update to its official app very soon, and the “See It” functionality will be available sometime in November.
