Twitter Employees Welcome Painting Of Celeb-Filled Oscars Moment

Twitter

Ellen DeGeneres’ special photo at the Oscars set a new retweet record with now over 3.4 million retweets, and Twitter recently added new decor to its headquarters.

This past Thursday, employee Lauren Mitcheom tweeted a photo of the epic moment as a painting that now hangs on the office wall:

Genevieve Wong and Liz Fiandaca are the two Twitter employees featured in the photo, and it’s currently unknown who illustrated the painting.

Considering Samsung was behind the epic moment thanks to it lending Ellen a Galaxy smartphone, we suspect the tech giant may have been behind the painting as well.

So far, the photo of the Oscars super selfie painting has received 68 retweets, which means it’s just a few shy of setting yet another Twitter record.
