Jon Park is a loyal Facebook employee and his girlfriend Genevieve Wong is a loyal Twitter worker. Over the weekend the FB staffer proposed to the Twitter employee and his proposal has been deemed the Twitbook Proposal.
Not wanting to focus on his own social network or that of his new fiances Jon instead incorporated aspects of both networks to create a memorable and viral proposal video.
Watch as Jon Park uses Facebook’s social search to show off photos of his fiance and his own life before they became a couple. Then watch as he again uses Facebook to show how happy they became after starting to date in 2008.
The unintended effect? A viral video on YouTube. I can’t think of any other proposals that has went viral with the help of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube working in tandem.
