Life can be full of struggle, and sometimes those struggles come in the form of #FirstWorldProblems.
Starting in November 2008 thanks to a Tumblr blog called “The Real First World Problems,” the hashtag quickly rose in popularity.
While people in other parts of the world face serious, life-threatening problems, we too face our own problems:
My iPad’s too cold to hold… #firstworldproblems
— vicky♡4Days (@nathanscrocs) September 17, 2013
The iPad is a great tablet, but the aluminum body manufactured by low-paid Chinese workers really absorbs hot and cold.
Its getting annoying going from blasting the heat to blasting the air conditioning… #firstworldproblems

With the first day of fall just five days away, nights are starting to get colder.
Dressing up to make yourself feel better, then getting sad because you have nowhere to go. #FirstWorldProblems

This #FirstWorldProblems hits close to home, and while you could use this tool called Google to explore new things to do, you could also just pout inside a climate controlled structure that contains food.
Have no idea what I want for dinner… Quiet upsetting really #FirstWorldProblems

In America, there is an abundance of food which makes the question “what are we having for dinner?” an incredibly difficult one.

#firstWorldProblems Breaking Bad, Dexter and Boardwalk Empire are all on at once… and my DVR will only catch two.

Although reality shows have taken over TV, there are still a lot of great shows. Unfortunately, some shows are on the same time slot, and DVRs have their limitations.
I have too many pennies #firstworldproblems
— First World Problems (@firstworldme) September 15, 2013
Pennies are the redheaded stepchild of U.S. currency, and instead of using this problem to our advantage, many of us would rather just pay in cash.
the fact that not having Internet access is impacting my evening so much concerns me.. #firstworldproblems

The Internet has become an essential part of our daily lives, but this tweet begs one question: how was it posted in the first place?
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
I do not know about you, but when I go into the Versace store, they better have a necklace available in more than just gold.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
If you can afford more than one computer monitor, congratulations. If you can afford five, and still talk about #FirstWorldProblems, well, you are probably a jerk.
