Facebook is used by more than 15 million businesses or organizations, and the latest data from Statista reveals the most talked about brands.
Back in October 2011, Facebook launched a new metric titled “People Talking About,” which helps page owners see how many users are talking about or mentioning them at any given time.
Here are the top 10 most talked about brands:
- Coca-Cola – 1,400,000
- Avon – 929,000
- Walmart – 757,000
- Disney – 737,000
- Samsung Mobile – 634,000
- Intel – 588,000
- Bud Light – 504,000
- Guaraná Antarctica – 494,000
- NBA – 477,000
- Visa – 470,000
However, based on likes, here are how those same brands rank:
- Coca-Cola – 71,563,594
- Disney – 45,001,234
- Walmart – 32,369,648
- Samsung Mobile – 23,622,312
- Intel – 21,538,038
- NBA – 17,736,251
- Guaraná Antarctica – 14,358,352
- Visa – 8,561,265
- Bud Light – 6,436,002
- Avon – 3,477,031
While Coca-Cola remains the top brand on Facebook, it can’t compete with recording artist Shakira. Although she has less fans at around 69 million, over 2.5 million people are talking about her.
