Vine is reportedly close to launching web profiles with the introduction of vanity URLs, and many are still scratching their heads over six-second videos.

At first glance, the concept honestly sounds idiotic, but 40 million registered users later, and it becomes clear the app will be sticking around for a while.

While Vine has been a breeding ground for comedy, another popular type of video is the loop. Videos automatically loop in the stream, and that’s lead to some pretty fun creations.
